“An Odd Future"

The Miami Heats are still in the playoffs, which bring’s a smile on me and my mom’s faces but now the question is how long can they stay in ?.
Some people say that if the Heats win the title it will be LeBron James who carried the team to win, but I say “HELL NO” because it was Dwayne Wade all year doing his thing on the offensive side averaging more than 25 points, 4 assists, and 6 rebounds during the season and now during the playoffs he is averaging more than 25 points, 5 assists, and 7 rebounds.
I’m not going to lie, the next main star or superstar is LeBron James, the so - called “King”, but I think he needs that championship ring or another MVP to say he is the King of the NBA. But he his getting close to that status of King because he already has 2 MVPs under his belt, he holds more than 20 records from High School to the present days like being the only Forward in the NBA to avg. more than 25 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists in his career.
You also can’t count out the other part of “The Big 3”, Chris Bosh. Even though Bosh was being out shined by the other two members of “The Big 3” Bosh is still putting up points during the regular-season by averaging 18 points, and 8 rebounds per game, then he got energized and that best time... playoff time because he started averaging more than 19 points per game and 9 rebounds per game. This was a huge step up for a player like Chris Bosh because he his getting out shined by Dwayne Wade and LeBron James.
Now the Heats are in the second round and about to face the Boston Celtics... My prediction Heats win in 6 games or 7 games but if the Heats get pass the Celtics and goes  into the Eastern Conference Finals, they are going to win it and they will move on to win the 2011 NBA Finals and bring the title back into Miami.

“ Surprise, Surprise”

Now The Magics are out, I have to change my topic to the whole NBA, but now the Spurs are out too before the second round !.... What Has This World Come To !!!!.

Now we can talk about the whole playoffs in general now, like from the Spurs being upset to the Knicks being swept.... This years playoffs is starting to look pretty interesting.

The first round was not as I thought it would be when the 4-seeded Orlando Magics got upset in 6 game by the 5-seeded Atlanta Hawks, which hurt a lot of Orlando fans like me because I thought the Magics had all there piece when they picked Earl Clark, Glibert Arenas, Jason Richardson, and Hedo Turkoglu..... sounds like championship team in the years to come. Also, during that series you had people from the Atlanta Hawks stepping up like Jamal Crawford who was avg. more than 19 points per game and you had Joe Johnson stepping his game up by becoming the team leader in points avg. more than 19 as well and he avg. more than 6 assists per game, which helped the Hawks upset the Magics in 6 games.( The series was 4-2)

Also, during the first round you had the 3-seeded Boston Celtics going against the 6-seeded New York Knicks, who was regarded as one of the teams “you don’t wanna see in the first round”, but that didn’t stop Rajon Rondo, The Big 3, and the Boston Celtics because they sweep the New York Knicks in 4 games on the fact that the Celtics was a better team, have experience being in the playoffs unlike the Knicks who has not been in the playoffs since ‘03, and the Celtics defense was locking up the Knicks main stars, Chauncey Billups, Carmelo Anthony, and the team captain Amare Stoudemire. But sadly with all those stars the Knicks was swept by Celtics in 4 games.( The series was 4-0)

Another shocker of the first round was that the favorite to win the NBA championship, 1-seeded San Antonio Spurs faced the 8-seeded Memphis Grizzlies and I had the Spurs to be in the Western Conference Finals with Los Angeles Lakers but the Memphis Grizzlies had other thinks on there mind when they won game 1, which help them get confidence to win the series in 6 games. Also, you had players stepping it up like Zach Randolph who avg. more than 22 points per game and you also had Marc Gasol who avg more than 13 points, 11 rebounds, and 2 blocks per game. The series ended as a upset 4-2 in 6 games.

The last game I will be anything talking about is my second favorite team, the Miami Heats faced the Philadelphia 76ers in a series that people including me and my mother (of all people) thought that the Heats was going to sweep the 76ers but they kept on fighting and pushed the series to game 5 but the Heats turned into a championship team and ended the series between them and the 76ers. I’m not going to lie I thought that the people like Chris Bosh was going to put in a lot of work like dropping 20 and 10 every game but he didn’t produce a lot, he still avg. more than 15 points and 9 rebounds during the postseason, but you had the main stars, LeBron James avg. 24 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists but you had Dwayne Wade who avg. more than 25 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists shining him. At the end you the Heats beating the 76ers in 5 games, the series was 4-1.

Playoff Time

The schedules are created, the plane tickets have been paid, and the hotel reservations have been reserve and when playoffs start it will be the Orlando Magics and the Atlanta Hawks in the first round.
The Magics and the Hawks in the first round, that is a easy win for the Magics, I bet anybody that the Magics is going to win in 5 or 6 games because the Hawks are good but no body on the Hawks is stronger than Dwight Howard to stop him in the paint.
Another problem that the Magics have against the Hawks is there little trio they have in Atlanta. Those players are #5 Forward John Smith maybe regarded as one of the best high flying Forwards in the game, #2 Guard Joe Johnson maybe the quietest superstar in the game, and they have #11 Guard Jamal Crawford maybe the best sixth-man that has ever play on the court.
Even though the Hawks swept the season series 3 to 0, but that was the regular season where you can make a mistake one night and the next day you can correct on your mistakes,  but it is a new season where you can’t mess up because one game can change the whole series and the motivation can change in favor the winner of game 1.
After really thinking about the Magics can get past the Hawks but they have to work hard for those wins because the Hawks can score and play great defense in transition to stop the Magics from scoring on fast-breaks.
I really think this is going to be a great match-up because both teams can shoot the deep ball, both teams can play great defense, both teams has a great players like on the Hawks they have Joe Johnson, who is an underrated superstar shooting guard who avg. 18 points, 4 assists, and 4 rebounds during the season, but the Magics got all- star center, Dwight Howard who avg. 22 points, 14 rebounds, and 2 blocks during the season.

A Magic Meltdown

They say third time is the charm but on April 10, 2011 their will be another thing coming.

April 10, 2011, Sunday Afternoon number 4 seeded Orlando Magic faced the number 1 seeded Chicago Bulls, this was the fourth time the two teams met in the regular season and the two teams did not disappointment the fans.

Before the game started everybody thought that the top seeded Bulls would blow out the Magics because the Magics loss there top player, Dwight Howard on Suspension and the Bulls have current front runner for Most Valuable Player(MVP), Derek Rose, but you can’t count out those Magics.

Also, before the game started me and my brother, Chris had this argument because he thought that the Bulls was going to smack the Orlando Magic because he said “ Once you got D.Rose on your team you got the victory sign with the whole team signature”. And i thought that was stupid because if you win by a blow out it really would count, you are beating a team without there star player in the line - up.

When the game started i was in my room with two boxes of Papa Johns, Two Cans of Sodas, and a trash bag, so once I’m done eating i can put my trash and keep on watching the game. After the first period ended and i saw a 32 to 24 Bulls lead i turn the TV to a different channel because i thought it was over.

After i heard my brother yelling i change the channel i saw the Magics was up by 3 in the fourth period with 2:34 left. And i saw that we can win it and i got all into the game and i started cheering. Later in the game i saw that my unborn son, Jameer Nelson nearly won that game but sadly he could pull the game winner off with 0.2 left and the game ended at Chicago 102 and Orlando 99 and ending the Magics two game winning streak.

A Legend in the Making

Olympic Gold Medalist, 2 time NBA Defensive Player of the Year, 5 time NBA All-Star Player, 4 time All-NBA Selections, 3 time NBA All-Defensive Selections and many more reasons why Dwight is one of the best Center/Power Forwards in the game today!!!!

Dwight Howard came into the league 2004 and he has 5 All-Star appearances, and all those All-Star appearances is 5 years in a row and people say he is wack because he can’t shoot, the man is 6’11 and weighs 265 pounds he don’t need to be shooting and he still avg. more than 20 points on just grabbing alley-hoops and putting people in the post and just baby them.

Dwight is not just a offensive player avg. more than 20 points and more than 14 rebounds but he is one of the best defensive players in the game avg. more than 2 blocks per game, which is mad hard in the NBA because with the great talent but Dwight can still get in done because he has amazing hops for his size, which helped him win the 2008 Slam Dunk Event. Also, Dwight avg, more than 1 steal, which is mad hard for a man his size because the guy is 6’11.

I think that Dwight is one of the best Center/Power Forwards in the game and he is the top five or ten for the best players for all positions. The reason i say that he is the best C/PF is that he takes team to the playoffs every year since he enter the league and he puts up one of the best stats against teams above .500 like the Lakers, the Bulls, and the Celtics, which are 23 points per team and 15 rebounds per team.

Another reason i think he is the best Center/Power Forward its that he one of the best rebounding players in the league because he is under thousands of records for blocks, rebounding and scoring.

Another Magic Under

Another Magic goes down and the playoffs are closing in. Can the Magics overcome all these injuries and stay in the fourth place.

After seeing all the magics in uniform last month  the head coach, Stan Van Gundy  thought his Magics was ready for the playoffs but until  last week Friday the  team started to lose some of there  players  due  to injury.

Some of the players that have been on the injury  Jason Richardson with knee tendinitis,  Gilbert Arenas with illness , Chris Duhon with his thumb, and the latest  player to be added is J.J Redick  with  abdominal strain.

Even though the magics lose most of there guards in the past three days, the team went two wins and one loss in those three days but in the past week the went two wins and three losses.

The two captains on the team Dwight Howard and Jameer Nelson step there games up for the missing parts in the line - up. In the past week Jameer went more than 15 points and more than 5 assists in and Dwight went more than 20 points and more than 15 rebounds.

The playoffs are near and i think that the Magic’s starting line - up and bench would be ready because they one of the best players in the game and that is Dwight Howard. He avg. more than 22 points and more than 14 rebounds. Also, there is another player that step - up through the time of injury was Hedo Turkoglu because he is avg more than 14 points and more than 6 assists.
