“ Surprise, Surprise”

Now The Magics are out, I have to change my topic to the whole NBA, but now the Spurs are out too before the second round !.... What Has This World Come To !!!!.

Now we can talk about the whole playoffs in general now, like from the Spurs being upset to the Knicks being swept.... This years playoffs is starting to look pretty interesting.

The first round was not as I thought it would be when the 4-seeded Orlando Magics got upset in 6 game by the 5-seeded Atlanta Hawks, which hurt a lot of Orlando fans like me because I thought the Magics had all there piece when they picked Earl Clark, Glibert Arenas, Jason Richardson, and Hedo Turkoglu..... sounds like championship team in the years to come. Also, during that series you had people from the Atlanta Hawks stepping up like Jamal Crawford who was avg. more than 19 points per game and you had Joe Johnson stepping his game up by becoming the team leader in points avg. more than 19 as well and he avg. more than 6 assists per game, which helped the Hawks upset the Magics in 6 games.( The series was 4-2)

Also, during the first round you had the 3-seeded Boston Celtics going against the 6-seeded New York Knicks, who was regarded as one of the teams “you don’t wanna see in the first round”, but that didn’t stop Rajon Rondo, The Big 3, and the Boston Celtics because they sweep the New York Knicks in 4 games on the fact that the Celtics was a better team, have experience being in the playoffs unlike the Knicks who has not been in the playoffs since ‘03, and the Celtics defense was locking up the Knicks main stars, Chauncey Billups, Carmelo Anthony, and the team captain Amare Stoudemire. But sadly with all those stars the Knicks was swept by Celtics in 4 games.( The series was 4-0)

Another shocker of the first round was that the favorite to win the NBA championship, 1-seeded San Antonio Spurs faced the 8-seeded Memphis Grizzlies and I had the Spurs to be in the Western Conference Finals with Los Angeles Lakers but the Memphis Grizzlies had other thinks on there mind when they won game 1, which help them get confidence to win the series in 6 games. Also, you had players stepping it up like Zach Randolph who avg. more than 22 points per game and you also had Marc Gasol who avg more than 13 points, 11 rebounds, and 2 blocks per game. The series ended as a upset 4-2 in 6 games.

The last game I will be anything talking about is my second favorite team, the Miami Heats faced the Philadelphia 76ers in a series that people including me and my mother (of all people) thought that the Heats was going to sweep the 76ers but they kept on fighting and pushed the series to game 5 but the Heats turned into a championship team and ended the series between them and the 76ers. I’m not going to lie I thought that the people like Chris Bosh was going to put in a lot of work like dropping 20 and 10 every game but he didn’t produce a lot, he still avg. more than 15 points and 9 rebounds during the postseason, but you had the main stars, LeBron James avg. 24 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists but you had Dwayne Wade who avg. more than 25 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists shining him. At the end you the Heats beating the 76ers in 5 games, the series was 4-1.
